Take special care of the following things before submission of documents:

  • The photocopies of all your documents should be clear copies and self attested with Blue Ink only
  • While self attestation make sure the signatures in all the documents do not differ
  • Make sure that the Logo of University at the top or the signature of Registrar/Controller at the bottom in photocopies is not cut or blurred
  • Your Graduation should be from an University recognized by UGC
  • If you have done Graduation from outside India, AIU Certificate is mandatory
  • Picture of Color Passport Photograph which matches with the photo printed in any of your KYC Documents
  • Just click the picture from your Mobile Camera from a close range with FLASH OFF
  • Keep the camera exactly above the Document while clicking the picture
  • This applies only for Passport Photograph and KYC Document
  • The First Name and the Last Name in the form should be as per your SSC Certificate only
  • If you need your post-marriage name for your NMIMS Distance Learning Admission, you need to submit the Marriage Certificate
  • If there is a difference or mistake in your names in some documents, you need to submit your Name Affidavit
  • If your criteria selected is of 2 years Work Experience, make sure the Work Experience Certificate has clear proof of you working for 2 years, should be on a Company Letter Head, stamped and signed by Authorized Signatory with Designation and Name of the signatory
  • If you are from Defense background, you need to submit the Defense Documents and Service Book

Points to note after submission of documents and Fee payment:

  • NMIMS Distance Learning Admission is confirmed only after correct submission of documents as well as payment of your Fee
  • The Student Number will generated within 3 to 4 working days from correct submission of the above documents, payment of the complete Fee to us, verification of email and mobile number and also if the documents are not disapproved for any of the reason by the University.
  • You can check NMIMS Distance Learning Fee Structure before making the payment.
  • In case of Installments or Loan, the Student Number will be generated only after all the installments are paid or the full Loan Amount is disbursed to University.
  • University reserves all the rights for approving the documents and we will not be responsible if any of your documents is disapproved for any reason.
  • If for any reason, the documents are disapproved or verification is not done on or before the cut-off dates, University will be charging a late Fee.
  • We will not be responsible for it and you will have to pay the applicable late Fee after the cut-off days.
  • Once the NMIMS Distance Learning Admission is confirmed i.e. your Student Number is generated, University will dispatch the Study Materials and Fee Receipt to your registered address within 10 working days.
  • Your NMIMS Student Zone login will be activated in 2-3 days of your Student Number generation after which you will be able to access your e-Books, Lectures, Recordings etc.

Issue of Mark Sheet / Final Certificate

Process to be followed by eligible candidates for obtaining Hard Copy of Mark Sheets/Final Certificate for Diploma, Post Graduate Diploma and Certificate Programs

Important Notice

  • Go to Student Zone — Student Support — Service Request
  • Select the required document from the drop down (Mark Sheets / Final certificate) and apply for the appropriate month and year
  • You can collect it from University campus for free or pay a postal / courier charge of Rs. 100 to get it delivered at your place
  • Please note that Issue of Mark Sheet / Final Certificate is not available in Mobile App

Important Points to Note

  • The University will generate required documents of the student concerned and arrange to send the same to the University Campus within 15 working days from the date of application
  • Student will get a confirmation email once the documents are generated and can collect the mark sheet / final certificate after producing the University Identity card
  • The Address and timings to collect the documents as well as the details of the concerned person to meet will be mentioned in the email
  • Mark Sheet / Final Certificate will not be handed over to any other person on behalf of the student
  • In case a student wants the University to deliver the Mark Sheet / Final Certificate at his / her residential address, the same will be delivered on payment of postal / courier charges of Rs. 100/-
  • Duplicate Mark Sheet / Final Certificate can be obtained by placing a service request with relevant documents required and a process Fee of Rs. 1000/-
  • Please be informed that the Mark Sheet or Certificate will not be sent to our Centre Address by any chance.
  • Either it can be collected from University Campus or you can choose for Courier option.

  • Student Number is also printed on your ID Card you received along with Study Materials

NMIMS Student Zone – Post Login

  • On logging in for the first time, you will be asked to Change Password and Update your Profile
  • Once you log into your NMIMS Student Zone using the login id and password provided by the University, please go to the Profile Section
  • Check your Name, Father’s Name, Mother’s Name, Postal Address, Email Address and Mobile Number properly
  • You can change your Postal Address, Email Address and Mobile Number from the NMIMS Student Zone directly
  • If there is any issue regarding Names, you need to raise an AEP Request for the same

Troubleshooting

  • If you are getting Invalid Credentials error, it means you are entering incorrect Student Number and / or Password
  • Please refer the Student Number / SAP ID sent to you after Admission Confirmation or check your Identity Card
  • If Password is incorrect, click on Forgot Password or Reset Password option
  • Complete these steps once as it is mandatory
  • In Update Profile, you need to fill all the fields of the three sections given there
  • The fields which are grey in colour cannot be edited and you need to fill only the fields those are in white
  • Remember if any white field, including Address, is left blank, you will get an error
  • Also, see that you need to enter only the First Name of Parents where asked

  • Exams will be conducted only Online from Student’s location of choice i.e. Home, Office or any place other provided the Exam rules are followed
  • You can check your Exam Schedule from the Email you received after Exams Registration
  • Please follow the Guidelines mentioned below very strictly to avoid any confusion at the last moment or you will be disqualified from the Exams
  • Please keep your University ID Card handy or if lost or not received you can use any Government ID Proof like Aadhar, Passport, PAN Card, Driving License etc. (Hard Copy only)
  • There will be no Printed Hall Ticket for Examinations

  • Student should use the same system for the main Exam which was used for Compatibility check and Demo Exam
  • Demo exam is mandatory before the main Exam
  • You can go to your Student Portal from Web Browser and then to Exams – Demo Exam for the same
  • We have a new Mettl Helpline number for Students to call in case of issues in Exams or Demo Exams – New Mettl Helpline: +918047190917 or 08047190917
  • Students can join the Exam via Student Portal Exam section
  • In addition to this, University will also be sending Exam links on Email one hour prior to the Exam time
  • Kindly go through the Candidate Guide to know the Rules of the Exams and the Steps (CLICK HERE) and also the FAQ’s shared in the post below
  • Exam link will be active as per the slot booked and not before that
  • For example link for 10 am slot will be live at 10 am and not before that

  • This Examination is conducted online via Mettl platform (University’s official assessment partner) through student portal and will be remotely proctored
  • Testing Compatibility using https://tests.mettl.com/system-check?i=db696a8e#/system Check is the most important step and has to be checked on regular basis, incase of issues please drop an email at support@mettl.com with a copy to ngasce@nmims.edu and nmims@halo.co.in or connect on WhatsApp at 8080500400
  • Student must ensure there is stable internet connectivity 512 kbps of concurrent speed
  • For any reason if Internet connectivity is lost during Exams, DO NOT CLOSE THE BROWSER, the Exam will resume from where you stopped
  • Please ensure webcam (inbuilt or external) and microphone of your system (laptop / computer) is connected and functional, which can be also tested using Compatibility test https://tests.mettl.com/systemcheck?i=db696a8e#/systemCheck
  • Students are advised to use the latest version of web browsers Google Chrome or Mozilla Firefox for a seamless experience during the Exam
  • Students must ensure that they use the same system that was used for the System Compatibility Check and Demo test to appear for the actual Exam
  • Compliance on Compatibility check and Demo Exam is a prerequisite and is required to be performed every week and 24 hours before every Exam
  • In case you change your system, system Compatibility check on the new system is a mandate
  • Students should ensure that they are not running / attempting to start any remote access software before or during the Exam
  • This will automatically close the Exam browser and the Examination will be interrupted
  • Students are not allowed to connect any extended screen / projector along with the system being used during the Exam
  • Students should not browse / switch to other window or application during the Exam
  • Usage of Mobile Phones, Tablets or any other electronic devices is strictly prohibited and not allowed during the Exam and can be kept in a different room and if found using it, your Exam would be termed as Null and Void

  • Scientific calculators will be provided on the Exam screen; hence physical calculators are not required
  • To maintain the sanctity of the Examination, please ensure that you are the only person in the room during the Exam and there is no disturbance
  • At any point of time during the Exam, you can be asked by the proctor through chat, to rotate your Laptop / Webcam to show your surroundings
  • Students are not allowed to take a break or use the restroom during the Examination; only drinking of water is permissible
  • University will initiate appropriate action in case a student is found to be not adhering to the aforesaid instructions / using unfair means / possessing any unauthorized material of any type
  • Exam link by subject will be made available on the Student portal one hour before the actual Exam time, however the Exam link will only be made active at the time of the booked slot
  • You can join the Exams from the Student Portal at the exact time of Exam
  • Non-receipt or delayed delivery of the Exam link in Email will not be a valid reason in case you miss the Exams
  • Demo Exam is made available on Student portal for students to experience the Exam interface, navigate screens, use various options available to answer descriptive questions
  • Please note this is not an Open book Exam and proctor will be monitoring your Exam real time
  • If you require Rough Sheet during the Exams, you will have to take permission from the Procter before the Exams
  • Do not indulge in unfair means by seeking help from any other individual in the room, students who tried this were penalized during last exam

Common Queries

A. You have enough time to make necessary arrangements, if you still are finding it difficult to arrange the IT infrastructure required at your home / work place to attempt these Exams; you have the choice to wait. As soon as and only if the Government allows, University will also conduct Center-based Exams in April or June 2021. You can give your Exams during that time.

Important Points to Note regarding: NMIMS June 2022 Term End Exams Registration

  • NMIMS Distance Learning June 2022 Term End Exams are for Fresh Exams as well as for PENDING or FAIL or Null and Void papers of previous Semesters
  • June 2022 Exams would be online; read further to know more
  • You can give the Exams from your home or office or any part of the world provided the rules and regulations of the Exams are followed which is shared below
  • Students need to register online for the NMIMS June 2022 Examination
  • For those who have submitted the Assignments and have received the Marks:
  • Since you have the option of submitting the Assignments again, your Student Portal will show as Assignment Pending
  • If you are satisfied with your previous Assignment marks then you can skip the Assignment submission and only attempt for the Term End Exam
  • Your previous Assignment marks will be carried forward for June 2022 Exams in such cases
  • In case if you submit the Assignment again then the University will consider best of the Assignment marks
  • Exam Registration window opens from: Tuesday, May 10, 2022, 11.45 AM IST
  • Exam Registration window closes on: Tuesday, May 24, 2022 at 23.59 hours
  • Students need to visit: online.nmims.edu – Student Zone – Exams – Exam Registration
  • NMIMS June 2022 Exam Dates (TENTATIVE)*:
  • June 2022 – 02, 03, 04, 05, 09, 10, 11, 12, 16, 17, 18, 19, 23, 24, 25, 26, 30 and July 2022 – 01, 02, 03
  • Mode of exam only online and not center based
  • Exam slots for Thursday will be 09:00 AM and 05:00 PM
  • Exam slots for Friday, Saturday and Sunday will be 09:00 AM, 01:00 PM and 05:00 PM
  • Please Note that the tentative result declaration dates will be around July 28, 2022
  • Term End Exam Fee is Rs. 600 per paper
  • Exam Registration is available only on Web Portal and not on Mobile App

Details of NMIMS June 2022 Exams

  • Exam Dates: Please note that the Dates are tentative and if there is any change, we will keep you updated for the same.
  • NMIMS June 2022 Exams will be conducted only Online and not at any Exam Centre
  • Every Exam Slot will have a limited capacity and is not open
  • University reserves the right to shift Students to another Exam Slot in case of any unavoidable circumstances
  • Hence you are requested to complete the Exams Registration at the earliest to avoid disappointment
  • The next Exam Session would be held in September 2022
  • You can choose your own Date and Time Slot for each Exam subject to availability

  • The above Exam Dates and Times are subject to availability and on first-come-first-serve basis
  • Certificate Course Exams are for 120 minutes and MBA Distance / Bachelor Degree / PG Diploma / Diploma Exams are for 150 minutes
  • There would be no Hall Tickets for NMIMS June 2022 Exams as the link will be shared in your Student Portal
  • You will have to show your Identity Card (or any other Government Photo ID Proof like Aadhar, PAN Card etc.) to the Proctor before the start of Exams to verify

Change Exam Center or Date or Time Slot

  • University will charge additional Processing Fee (Rs. 500/-) for Change of Exam registration in TOTAL per student and not per subject
  • Students can themselves change online the wrongly selected exam date/time slot same way as booking for the first time
  • In Exams – Exam Registration, you will see a Change Exam Center button in the bottom from which you can change Date or Time Slot
  • This change will be accepted in the portal only till the Exam Registration window is open and subject to availability

Examination Fee

  • Term End Paper Fee is Rs. 600 per paper.
  • Examination Fee once paid will not be refunded or carried ahead for the next Exam cycle
  • If for any technical reason, your payment is deducted from your Card or Account and the Exam Registration is not done, DO NOT PAY AGAIN
  • Check the Exams Registration Status after half an hour in your Student Portal
  • You can check the Status in Exams Registration Section or can download from Quick Links – Exams Fee Receipt to verify the same
  • Based on approvals, University has already exempted April 2022 Exam fee paid Students who has requested to carry forward the Fee to NMIMS June 2022 Exams
  • However these Students still need to complete the Exam Registration Process
  • Please check the Prerequisites for Exams from the section below and only then book the Exams as the Fee is not refundable or carried forward

Prerequisites for Exams

  • Laptop or Desktop in working condition.
  • Mobiles or Tablets will not be allowed for Exams.
  • Stable internet connectivity with minimum 2 MBPS speed
  • Hotspots will not work for Exams
  • Operational Webcam (external or inbuilt camera of laptop)
  • Well lit room
  • Compliance on compatibility – University has provided a compliance test link through which it will be assessed if all the above parameters are checked
  • Demo Exams – You will be getting a Demo Exams link to check if everything is working as per the standards

  • Demo Exams will be made live next week
  • Registered Students will receive a copy of Do’s and Don’ts for the Exams in Email
  • It will help you under both the Technical as well as Non Technical aspects of the Exams
  • A Technical HelpDesk Number will be made available to the Students to discuss system related issues, if any

Exams Interface

  • The Exams would be completely Online
  • Exam Links can be accessed only from your Student Portal after successful login
  • Exam Link will be active at the same time as the Exam goes live and not before the scheduled time
  • Proctor assistance will be available during the Exam along with Technical assistance
  • Procter will be done by a person along with Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning parameters
  • If a Student is found copying or taking help from books or some other means, the exams will be treated as Unfair and will be failed for the subject
