NMIMS Online Admission Documents (2026)

Applying for an NMIMS Online program becomes much easier when you have all the required documents ready before starting your application.

This page explains the complete list of NMIMS Online Admission Documents, eligibility requirements, important guidelines and the latest admission updates. Please read each section carefully before uploading your documents to avoid delays during verification.

Your NMIMS Online admission is confirmed only after:

  • Successful submission of all required documents
  • Verification of your documents
  • Verification of your registered mobile number
  • Verification of your registered email address
  • Payment of the applicable Semester, Yearly or Full Program Fee.

Documents Required for NMIMS Online Admission

Please keep the following documents ready before starting your application.

You need to upload two valid identity proofs.

  • Aadhaar Card (Front and Back)
  • PAN Card
  • Passport
  • Driving Licence
  • Voter ID Card

Please upload clear colour copies of all identity documents.

Upload one recent colour passport-size photograph.

For best results:

  • The photograph should clearly match the photo on your identity proof.
  • Click the photograph using your mobile camera.
  • Keep the flash turned OFF.
  • Hold the camera directly above the photograph while clicking.
  • Ensure the image is clear and not blurred.

Upload clear colour copies of the following academic documents.

  • SSC Mark Sheet or Certificate
  • HSC Mark Sheet or Certificate
  • Graduation Mark Sheets (All Semesters)
  • Graduation Degree Certificate

Additional Documents (Only If Applicable)

Depending on your profile, you may also need to upload one or more of the following documents.

If your name has changed after marriage, upload:

  • Marriage Certificate

If there is any difference in your name across educational or identity documents, upload:

  • Name Change Affidavit

If you completed your graduation outside India, you must upload an AIU (Association of Indian Universities) Equivalence Certificate along with your academic documents.

If your graduation score is below 50%, you must upload a valid caste certificate to claim the applicable relaxation.

The minimum eligibility is 45% for SC, ST, OBC and PwD candidates, subject to the applicable admission guidelines.

Applicants from the Defence background should upload:

  • Defence Documents
  • Service Book (where applicable)

Executive MBA Applicants

The following requirements apply only to applicants applying for the Executive MBA program.

Please upload:

  • All educational documents listed above
  • Aadhaar Card and one additional photo ID
  • Work Experience Certificate showing a minimum of 3 years of experience
  • Updated LinkedIn Profile

Your work experience certificate should:

  • Be issued on the company’s official letterhead.
  • Clearly mention your employment period.
  • Be signed by the authorised signatory.
  • Include the authorised signatory’s name and designation.
  • Carry the official company stamp wherever applicable.

Diploma, Bachelor's and Certificate Programs

Applicants applying for Diploma, Bachelor’s or Certificate programs should upload only the documents applicable to their chosen course.

Applicants should upload the documents applicable to their selected program as communicated during the admission process.

Important Things to Check Before Uploading Your Documents

Before submitting your NMIMS Online Admission Documents, please go through the following checklist carefully.

  • Upload only clear, readable colour copies of every document.
  • Self-attest every document using a blue ink signature.
  • Use the same signature on all self-attested documents.
  • Make sure the University logo at the top and the Registrar’s or Controller’s signature at the bottom of your academic documents are clearly visible and not cropped or blurred.
  • Your graduation degree must be from a UGC-recognised university.
  • If your graduation is from outside India, an AIU Equivalence Certificate is mandatory.
  • Your passport-size photograph should match the photograph on your identity proof.
  • Enter your First Name and Last Name exactly as they appear on your SSC Certificate.
  • If you wish to use your post-marriage name, upload your Marriage Certificate.
  • If your name is different across any of your documents, upload a valid Name Change Affidavit.
  • Defence applicants should upload the required Defence documents and Service Book wherever applicable.
  • Before submitting your application, review every uploaded document to make sure all information is complete, accurate and clearly visible.

What Happens After You Submit Your Documents?

Once you have uploaded all the required NMIMS Online Admission Documents and completed your fee payment, your application moves to the verification stage.

Please ensure your documents are correct and complete to avoid delays in the admission process.

Your documents will be reviewed as part of the admission process. The University reserves the final right to approve or reject the submitted documents.

If any document is unclear, incomplete or does not meet the admission requirements, you may be asked to upload the correct document again.

Please respond as quickly as possible to avoid delays.

Your registered mobile number and email address will be verified as part of the admission process.

Please make sure both remain active until your admission is completed.

After your documents have been verified, you must complete a Video Verification Call (VVC). This is a mandatory step before your Student Number can be generated.

You can choose either of the following options:

Option 1: Schedule Your VVC
Select your preferred date and time to attend the verification call.

Option 2: Start VVC Instantly (AI-Based)
Complete your AI-based VVC immediately, anytime. This option is available 24×7 with no appointment required.

Please keep a valid photo ID ready, as it may be requested during the verification.

Your Student Number will be generated only after your VVC has been successfully completed.

Your NMIMS Student Number is generally generated within 3 to 4 working days after all of the following steps are completed successfully:

  • Correct submission of all required documents
  • Approval of documents by the University
  • Payment of the applicable Semester, Yearly or Full Program Fee
  • Mobile number verification
  • Email verification
  • Successful completion of the Video Verification Call (VVC)

Upload clear colour copies of the following academic documents.

  • SSC Mark Sheet or Certificate
  • HSC Mark Sheet or Certificate
  • Graduation Mark Sheets (All Semesters)
  • Graduation Degree Certificate

Important Things to Remember

Please keep the following points in mind during the admission process.

  • Your NMIMS Online admission is confirmed only after successful document verification and complete fee payment.
  • Before making your payment, you may also check the latest NMIMS Online Fee Structure.
  • If you have selected the installment or education loan option, your Student Number will be generated only after all installments are paid or the complete loan amount has been disbursed to the University.
  • The University has the final authority to approve or reject any document submitted during admission.
  • If any document is rejected, incomplete or not verified before the admission deadline, the University may apply a late fee as per its rules.
  • Halo Knowledge Academy cannot override the University’s admission policies, document approval process or late fee rules.

After Your Student Number Is Generated

Once your Student Number has been generated:

  • Your NMIMS Online admission is officially confirmed.
  • Your Study Material (where applicable) and Fee Receipt will normally be dispatched to your registered address within 10 working days.
  • Your NMIMS Student Zone login is usually activated within 2 to 3 working days after Student Number generation.
  • Once activated, you can access your eBooks, recorded lectures, learning resources and other academic content through the Student Zone.

Frequently Asked Questions

The NMIMS Online Admission Documents include your Aadhaar Card, one additional photo ID, passport-size photograph, educational documents and any supporting documents applicable to your profile, such as a Marriage Certificate, AIU Certificate or caste certificate.

Most NMIMS Online Admission Documents remain the same across programs. However, Executive MBA applicants must also submit a Work Experience Certificate and an updated LinkedIn profile.

You should upload your NMIMS Online Admission Documents while completing your admission application so they can be verified before your Student Number is generated.
