- Your NMIMS Distance Learning Admission is confirmed only after full payment of Fee (Semester or Yearly or Full) and on verification of documents, mobile number and email id.

Take special care of the following things before submission of documents:
- The photocopies of all your documents should be clear copies and self attested with Blue Ink only
- While self attestation make sure the signatures in all the documents do not differ
- Make sure that the Logo of University at the top or the signature of Registrar/Controller at the bottom in photocopies is not cut or blurred
- Your Graduation should be from an University recognized by UGC
- If you have done Graduation from outside India, AIU Certificate is mandatory
- Picture of Color Passport Photograph which matches with the photo printed in any of your KYC Documents

- Keep the camera exactly above the Document while clicking the picture
- This applies only for Passport Photograph and KYC Document
- The First Name and the Last Name in the form should be as per your SSC Certificate only
- If you need your post-marriage name for your NMIMS Distance Learning Admission, you need to submit the Marriage Certificate
- If there is a difference or mistake in your names in some documents, you need to submit your Name Affidavit
- If your criteria selected is of 2 years Work Experience, make sure the Work Experience Certificate has clear proof of you working for 2 years, should be on a Company Letter Head, stamped and signed by Authorized Signatory with Designation and Name of the signatory
- If you are from Defense background, you need to submit the Defense Documents and Service Book

Points to note after submission of documents and Fee payment:
- NMIMS Distance Learning Admission is confirmed only after correct submission of documents as well as payment of your Fee
- The Student Number will generated within 3 to 4 working days from correct submission of the above documents, payment of the complete Fee to us, verification of email and mobile number and also if the documents are not disapproved for any of the reason by the University.
- You can check NMIMS Distance Learning Fee Structure before making the payment.
- In case of Installments or Loan, the Student Number will be generated only after all the installments are paid or the full Loan Amount is disbursed to University.
- University reserves all the rights for approving the documents and we will not be responsible if any of your documents is disapproved for any reason.
- If for any reason, the documents are disapproved or verification is not done on or before the cut-off dates, University will be charging a late Fee.
- We will not be responsible for it and you will have to pay the applicable late Fee after the cut-off days.
- Once the NMIMS Distance Learning Admission is confirmed i.e. your Student Number is generated, University will dispatch the Study Materials and Fee Receipt to your registered address within 10 working days.
- Your NMIMS Student Zone login will be activated in 2-3 days of your Student Number generation after which you will be able to access your e-Books, Lectures, Recordings etc.
