Step 1: Go to Student Portal Login from Google Chrome or Safari preferably

Step 2: Enter your Student Number a digital ID

How to get your Student Number and Password for NMIMS Distance?

Your NMIMS Student Number and Student Zone password are sent to your registered email by the university after admission.
If you haven’t received your password, click on the Forgot Password option on the Student Zone login page.
After selecting Forgot Password, your password will be sent to your registered email ID with NMIMS Distance.

NMIMS Student Portal – After Login

When you log in for the first time, you’ll be prompted to change your password and update your profile.
Log in to the Student Portal using the login ID and password provided by the university, then go to the Profile section.
Carefully verify your Name, Father’s Name, Mother’s Name, Postal Address, Email ID, and Mobile Number.
You can directly update your Postal Address, Email ID, and Mobile Number from the NMIMS Student Zone.
If there is any issue with your name details, you must raise a ticket under Connect with us section in your Student zone, for correction.

Troubleshooting - Login

If you see an Invalid Credentials error, it usually means the Student Number and/or Password is incorrect.
Check the Student Number / SAP ID shared after admission confirmation or printed on your NMIMS ID card.
If the password is wrong, use the Forgot Password / Reset Password option.
These steps need to be completed once, as they are mandatory.
In the Update Profile section, make sure you fill all required fields across the three sections shown.
Greyed-out fields cannot be edited. Fill only the fields shown in white.
If any white field (including address fields) is left blank, the system will show an error.
Where parent details are asked, enter only the first name of the parent.

NMIMS Student Portal & NMIMS Education Features

Lectures are conducted live for each subject, timings for the same are updated on the Academic Calendar.
Recordings of the same are made available to the students within 24 working hours post the live session.
The NMIMS mobile app lets students attend live lectures and watch recorded lectures on the go, as per the published schedule.
The mobile app is also useful for receiving important alerts and notifications sent by NCDOE.
Through the web portal, students can check login steps and access details related to lectures, e-books, exam dates, assignments, exam pattern, re-registration, and other program-related information.
